Although drinking coffee won’t help defeat your cellulite, by mixing some cheap hand lotion with warm caffeinated coffee grinds you’ll have an anti-cellulite homemade recipe at your fingertips. If desired, mix the warm coffee grounds with olive oil or some other type of lotion that makes it easier to apply on your skin.
Simply thinking about cellulite and coffee seems odd, but there is proof that the caffeine in coffee does suppress cellulite activity. Caffeine of course is well known to increase blood flow and cellulite is a form of fat which builds up on your body due to the lack of blood flow. So, when caffeinated coffee mixed with hand cream is applied on your cellulite you will improve the vascularization (formation of blood vessels) of these areas, which allows easier cellulite breakdown and the removal of toxins. For this reason, many cellulite creams contain caffeine.
Don’t go out and buy the most expensive gourmet coffee on the market just use a regular brand of coffee – make certain that it is caffeinated.
Mix the warm coffee grounds with some cheap hand cream and apply this mixture to the areas that have cellulite -- you can use your hands or a loofah mitt. Wrap the area in plastic wrap, or if you can find it, seaweed is even better, until you have it completely covered. Intensify the treatment by taking an old-fashioned rolling pin and roll the area to further smooth out the cellulite.
Once this is done leave the areas wrapped for several minutes. When you are finished unwrap the plastic wrap or seaweed and rinse the area thoroughly. Do this in a warm shower, since in can get a bit messy otherwise.
To apply coffee grounds to your cellulite may not be the most elaborate or expensive treatment on the market, but for many people this treatment does work. You should apply this mixture to your cellulite once a day until you are seeing a difference.
